As a dedicated life observer, I 'record' every trivial thing in my life, such as my encounters, the landscapes I see, the serendipity, and special feelings that some dreams bring to me. They are like sticky notes that cluttered my heart, and it is hard for me to forget them. The beginning of project 'Trace Back' is also the beginning of the process of organizing, analyzing, and tracing those sticky notes from my life. In this project, I traced objects, random events, and people that are often overlooked. Through my lens, the seemingly random editing techniques, and the combination way of images with music, I discovered the unique beauty in ordinary life scenes. The fragmented narrative style and articulated approach present an aesthetic diversity within a logical framework. This diversity repeatedly crosses the dimensions of time and space. I delve into the question of how invisible, intangible moments and tangible, visible spaces and objects interact and take shape over time. Although I do not have a definitive answer, I am convinced that these vivid and lively 'images' that slowly unfold over time are narratives of how they occur simultaneously and intertwine in tacit moments.
